Then back to the MC, save, and north out of town, for real this time.

After the second fight, head east to the next screen, enter the big building on the right, and speak to Colette’s dad again for free healing. If you end up particularly hurt after the first fight, feel free to whip up a sandwich to heal a bit of HP. Go ahead and hit that Memory Circle to save, then head out the northern exit, but wait, what is this? Our first enemies! Whup a zombie, followed by a zombie and a ghost.

Shopping done, it’s time to continue on to the temple. You can even equip two pairs to the same character! Make sure to equip those Boots on whoever you think could use the defense. I suggest buying 2 pairs of Boots for that little early game defense boost, 10 Magic Lenses for identifying monsters (don’t bother if you don’t care about the Monster Book containing all the details I’m a perfectionist, so I want them!), and save the rest for a rainy day. You start off with 500 Gald, and I see no reason to hold onto it. Go directly south from the glowing circle (Memory Circle, for saving your game) into the next screen, and enter the first building on the left. Onward!Īfter a quick chat with Colette’s dad, who is totally cool with teenagers rushing off into danger, I suggest you visit the store. Finally, we are ready to leave the school. Might as well assign it to her since it has some bonuses, as opposed to her default which has none. That bit of logistics done, make sure to inspect the hole on the left side of the north wall for Colette’s first Title, Klutz! All Out is the Boss Mode: Everyone set to Attack Same and At Once, while using the same move mode as the default (Frontlines, Move Freely, and L-Range Magic for Lloyd, Colette, and Genis, respectively). For Reserve, I just set everyone’s move to Hold Position this is used when I need everyone to do nothing but guard while I manually do something like steal. I then set two of the Orders, Reserve and All Out. For Lloyd I set his default to Attack Freely, Retain, and Frontlines for Colette Attack Freely, Retain, and Move Freely an Genis Attack Freely, Save, and L-Range Magic. Once you have all three characters and are in control, I like to set my auto-battle strategies. Keep in mind Beta Techs is only there for text nothing else, some characters has them and if the AI uses them as stated before the game will crash so keep a close eye on your character's list.Again, no difference other than for Affection. You can turn them off to prevent the AI from using them but if you have a lack of memory like me then I would stay away from Colette's list. WARNING: I would strongly advise to stay away from Colette's list since she has most beta techs then any other characters and if the AI use the Beta Tech then the game will crash.

Then click Okay, and go back to your current game save and look at all the Techs your characters will have. (Ex: Lloyd: Techs ever known FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF) To get All Tech for all characters, select three of the sections listed for each character then change the whole value to FF.etc.

Remember the default value of the characters Tech list if you messed something up on your game, as shown here:
